Situated on the beautiful Black Sea coast, with a population of 5230 people, the town of Byala is a small traditional Bulgarian settlement. Founded in the 3rd century, Byala has interesting history. Remains of an ancient fortress can still be viewed and the historical white cliffs(hence the name Byala, "white") that surround the seculded sandy beach have been found to contain dinosaur remains. Only 5km. away lies Obzor, nice coastal town which is suitable for days or night trips. The transport is readily available with regular buses to Varna and private taxis. The village is famous and very developed with many local shops, bars, restaurants and nice Church. A long beautiful wide curved sandy beach borders the bay of Byala. The water close the shore are crystal clear and great for family bathing. It is an important beach resort where you can spend the best vacation with your family.
